Paving stone with porphyry setts
Elements in the shape of parallelepiped used to pave and to delimit.
These elements have more or less parallelepipedon shape and are obtained by means of mechanical splitting. Two types of standard setts are produced: normal setts (10x5/8, 10x8/11 and 12x10/15) and giant setts (12x15/20 and 14x15/20). Used for bordering and delimiting pavings, but also as a paving element per se, setts have natural surface top, clearly squared with parallel sides. Setts provide texture in the streetscape, can be used to pattern squares, pavings or create flowerbeds, pedestrian precincts, or gardens.
